One Problem Per Consultation

To help us help you best we ask that patients only come to your consultation with one problem. 

For the following reasons: 

1. Too many problems distract the doctor
2. Doctor may be more likely to rush
3. Ten minutes is not long at all 
4. Other patients will be kept waiting
5. Serious illness might be missed
6. Doctor needs time to write up notes
7. Doctor needs to focus to detect serious disease early
8. A limited resource should be use with care
