Appointments

To make an appointment telephone 02380 672666 or call in to the surgery. The practice operates an appointments system to consult any doctor or Helen Crowe our Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the practice.

We aim to provide an appointment for a doctor within 24 hours where you consider the condition urgent, but in the cases that are felt to be more urgent and cannot wait we will give an appointment for the next available surgery. This appointment may not be for a couple of weeks so if you do need to be seen in the future can you please try and book in advance and also ensure that you attend your appointment?

It is not always possible to see the doctor of your choice urgently but we do aim to give you an appointment as soon as it is possible with an alternative doctor.

We aim to see you within 30 minutes of your appointment time and where this is not possible we will give you an explanation. Remember to make a separate appointment for each person.

Alternatively, you can book in for a telephone appointment with a doctor if you feel this is more appropriate.

Please do not ask the doctor to see someone else or write out a repeat prescription for someone else during the consultation.

 

Extended Hours

We also offer Saturday morning surgeries as follows:

Saturday 09:00 - 12:00 - appointments are available to pre-book in advance and some are also accessible to book on-line. The surgery will not be open for any other services during these times.

 

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

 

Cancel An Appointment?

If you are not able to keep your appointment please call 02380 672666 and cancel as soon as possible: someone else may need to see the doctor urgently.
